The Nordic countries—Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden—have over the years developed energy systems that promote innovation, focus on effective system integration, ensure grid stability and facilitate transformation into sustainable energy solutions.
On September 13th and 14th 2017, the Nordics will collectively host the Nordic Energy Days in Tshwane. The objective is to deepen Nordic-South African collaboration in the field of energy through a series of seminars and business-to-business interactions. The countries are represented at political level and with delegations of high-level representatives from regulators and energy relevant authorities. Some forty Nordic companies are engaged to travel to South Africa to participate.
On the first day (13 September), energy market regulation, cross-border collaboration and financing will be discussed. On the second day (14 September), there will be expert sessions on grid technologies, systems integration and sustainable technologies. This will be followed by a buzzing market place where the Nordic companies’ representatives will be on hand for discussions and to present their solutions.
The Nordic Energy Days will take place at Gauteng’s Innovation Hub in Tshwane, an optimal venue for connecting for forward-looking discussions.
Welcome to the Nordic Energy Days!
